Here are a few New Year changes for 2025: There’s a new Substack title, “Writing Close to the Edge.” Sounds more like me, yes? The upcoming post is a poem, “Time Past.” It is a test for voiceover as well, so that I can begin to read the posts aloud for paid subscribers. That means a paywall between the writing and the audio. But not yet! Not today. This is a freebie coming up. Everybody in!

I have to figure out if I can do a voice over or podcast or start an audio only substack for paid subscribers. BECAUSE, Substack will take away the privilege of making or reading comments for free. Well, I don’t know about you, but I NEED those comments so I know how everyone is doing and how I’m doing with these posts.

When I get it figured out I will let you know. I do think, because it takes Jane a lot more time to do all this tech, and I might get in real trouble trying to do it myself, I feel it’s fair to make this offer to my paid subscribers. However, I don’t want to lose anyone’s comments or support or new folks wanting to tap in here.
